Support Groups

Educate. Illuminate. Inspire.

In our new and exciting format, we explore topics around trauma, healing, and attachment through psycho-education, peer support, and expressive art. Children will participate in age appropriate group activities and selected projects to strengthen concepts being addressed in counseling including; self-esteem, social confidence, trust, and resiliency. Parents will learn foundations to support their child’s growth and healing through their own support group and projects.

5:30 – 6:00 PM – Dinner will be available
6:00 – 7:00 PM – Separate support groups for parents and children
7:00 - 7:30 PM – Group wraps up projects, and may share their experiences. Sometimes combined group activity for parents and children will take place

Our support groups are led by Voices for Children staff and interns, including Paula Archambault our registered play therapist supervisor, and Autumn Heddy-Reed, a board certified registered art therapist.

Please RSVP to ensure that we can provide enough food for the group dinner.
